Visit our artist in her studio by appointment, or try out her artworks on your walls – available on request in Oisans and the Hautes-Alpes.
Sophie Dode works in her studio in the heart of the small village of Cuculet, 10 minutes from Les 2 Alpes. Studio visits by appointment: +33 6 11 39 80 38.
Her work is primarily expressed on canvas and paper.

Sophie Dode’s artistic approach draws inspiration from our wonderful landscapes, but also from a love of raw, unadorned painting – in the style of Soulages and Rothko – the vitality of Joan Mitchell, and the diversity of Picasso… The landscape and the mountains serve as a pretext for exploring colour and movement.

Sophie makes her own paints using acrylics and pigments. Water from the studio is also left to settle as part of her commitment to protecting the environment.
The artist regularly exhibits at our lovely venues in the Huisson area
