Since the age of 9, Jérôme — a triple amputee — has had a dream for himself and for everyone in his situation: to run freely, without a second thought. But at 46, Jérôme knows better than anyone that running blades are outrageously expensive and reserved for the elite of para-sports.
In 2020, engineering students from Albi took on his challenge: to develop a user-friendly prototype made from recycled Airbus aircraft carbon, with the goal of making this kind of prosthesis accessible to as many people as possible.
"Sur mes deux jambes" ("On My Two Legs") tells the story of the ups and downs of this ambitious project — a tribute to inclusivity, innovation, mutual support, and the rediscovery of freedom through movement.
