    Discover the world of mountaineering and the history of the Bérarde route.

  • Located in the heart of St. Christophe, a stone's throw from the cemetery where the famous mountain guides of La Bérarde and Le Vénéon, as well as many renowned mountaineers, are buried, the museum is aimed at all mountaineers. This space in the heart of the mountains is designed to evoke both the history of mountaineering in the Écrins massif and the thrills and spills of a sport synonymous with adventure, commitment, passion and freedom. Six rooms covering more than 400m² await you.
