Ambitious plans for the development and improvement of the ski area to provide an even better quality of skiing experience.
Champamé Ski Tow: The former ski tow has been relocated a few metres to accommodate the construction of the new residence and optimise the layout of the area.
Installation of new snowmaking equipment in Vallée Blanche, Demoiselles and the Belle Etoile/Lutins link to secure and improve the reliability of skier return routes and key connections across the ski area.
Installation of a new Gazex avalanche control system in the Grand Nord sector to ensure safe avalanche triggering operations while further enhancing the protection of the teams.
Installation of new snow fences between 3,200 and 2,600 metres: trapping and retaining snow to improve and preserve snow cover on the slopes.
Educational Speed Radar: Previously known as the “speed radar”, the system has been upgraded with a more fun and interactive approach, incorporating safety awareness messages delivered by the ski patrol team.
Crowd Monitoring Cameras: Deployment scheduled during the season. Real-time monitoring of visitor numbers at the departure points of the Belle Etoile TMX, Jandri and Diable TMX lifts, making it possible to identify crowd levels and direct guests towards the lifts with shorter queues.
DID YOU KNOW?
Since the winter of 2026, the ski lift company has been offering you the opportunity to try:
• Brand new photo point
A camera will be installed at the Bellecombe chairlift arrival point. A terminal, located near the direction signs, will allow you to retrieve the photo in digital format free of charge.
• Beginner areas reach new heights
Previously located at 1,650 m, the beginner slopes are now accessible at 2,100 m and 2,600 m. This evolution ensures ideal conditions for learning to ski or snowboard, whatever the season.
• The Jandri Walk: slow skiing at high altitude
Between 2,800 m and 3,200 m, a new blue run follows the Jandri trail, offering a peaceful and scenic descent. Designed for skiers seeking calm and breathtaking views, the Jandri Walk invites you to slow down and enjoy the mountain at your own pace.
• Reorganisation at 2,600 metres
Two magic carpets replace the rope tow to improve access to the slopes and the Chalet de la Toura.
• Night skiing for everyone
The nighttime skiing experience on Vallée Blanche is expanding: in addition to the red run (400 m vertical drop), a green slope will open in winter 2026. A magical new opportunity to ski under the stars, open to all ability levels.
• Parallel slalom
It has been extended by 50 metres with more turns, giving you even more of a challenge against your friends!
