- From what age can children go up to the glacier at 3,400 metres?
We don’t recommend children go up to the glacier before the age of 4, and then only as long as they don’t have any particular ear issues. Before that age, the altitude can hurt their ears.

It gets cold on the glacier, even in summer! Wear trousers and suitable walking shoes, and make sure you take a jumper and anorak with you. Take sunscreen, sunglasses, water and a snack.
