La Mansio de Bons

Our group gîte, with a capacity of 50 people, is located at the foot of the Les 2 Alpes ski resort, on the edge of the Écrins National Park, in a part of Isère known as the Oisans.

We are located in the heart of a traditional hamlet called “Bons”, nicknamed “Bons la Romaine” due to the passage of a Roman road towards Briançon and Italy. The remains of a “Roman gate” nearby are a symbol of this history.

Our location on the GR54 trail allows for numerous hikes directly from the property, in a magnificent and unspoilt natural setting, well known to hiking enthusiasts.

Alongside the gîte, our inn is open all year round. We mainly offer half-board and full-board stays. We prepare homemade cuisine using fresh and, as much as possible, local products. In keeping with our heritage as mountain shopkeepers, we have also opened a small cheese shop and grocery store in the heart of the hamlet.

Our rooms come in several types:

From 2 to 6 people, some equipped for longer stays with private bathrooms
Others designed for short stays, with shared toilets and showers

We also offer a small apartment with shower and toilet, and a family room with shower and a private bedroom for parents (toilets located just outside in the corridor).

Around the gîte, many activities are available depending on the season: skiing with the nearby resort (chairlift access at 800 m), snowshoeing, mountain biking, cycling, and hiking in summer. Many other activities are available within a 50 km radius.

The gîte is not available for self-catering rental and is not a party venue due to its location in the heart of a hamlet. It is a lively place focused on sharing, with the authenticity of village life and its inhabitants.
